Deer Valley Unified School District Relies on ESET to Protect 6,000 Users
Thursday, November 30. 2006
ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection, today announced that Deer Valley Unified School District (USD) has selected ESET NOD32 Antivirus software as the default antivirus solution for its 36 K-12 schools located in Phoenix and five neighboring cities. Currently, ESET software is deployed district-wide across 6,000 personal computers and has been responsible for removing all traces of previous malware infections that plagued the school district prior to switching to ESET. Since implementing ESET software in June of 2005, no computers have been compromised at Deer Valley USD, resulting in an increase in network uptime and end-user productivity for the schools. The deployment of NOD32 software is expected to reach 12,000 computers by 2009.
