In case you hadn't heard - Sunday is the new Y2K disaster - no - REALLY!
Seriously though - the changes to Daylight Savings Time will cause a lot of problems to some computer users - mainly those without current operating systems, or those that might not have a validated windows XP key.
So what's the big fuss? Well - I haven't seen any yet, but I know it's just a matter of time... the launch of a dreaded "daylight savings time fix" trojan. With the upcoming change daylight savings time, and the "fixes" only being available for windows users who have:
a. an operating system that is supported (XP, Vista and Win2k-SP4)
b. a validated license key - yes, this "fix" requires windows validation
I know it is only a matter of time before some "genius" trojan writer jumps on the bandwagon and releases a trojan masquerading as a "fix".
