Microsoft admits OneCare anti-virus software 'not stellar'

Microsoft has acknowledged that its OneCare anti-virus software performed poorly in recent tests, and promised to do better by paying more attention to malware that is actually in the wild.
"The recent detection numbers were not stellar," Jimmy Kuo, a member of the Microsoft security research and response team, said in a company blog.
