How do I RE-install ESET Smart Security?
Due to corrupted installations or newer full program releases, a reinstall of ESET Smart Security is sometimes necessary. To reinstall ESET Smart Security, follow the steps below.
1. Click Start → Programs → ESET → Uninstall. After you uninstall, you will need to reboot the computer.
2. After rebooting, click Start → My Computer. Navigate to C:/Program Files and delete the ESET folder.
3. Download ESET Smart Security onto your desktop using the link below (Select Save not Run).

Download ESET Smart Security
You will need your unique AV-username and password to download ESET Smart Security. Please reference your confirmation email for this information.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Once the download has completed, you may be prompted to click Run and begin the installation process. Click Run if you are prompted. If not, navigate to your desktop or wherever you saved the ndntenst.exe file. Double-click on it.
NOTE: If the installation gives an error and you previously had NOD32 installed on the system, verify that you have uninstalled it completely according to the instructions above. Also, delete the C:/Program Files/ESET folder.

1. Click Next.
2. Select I accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next.
3. Select Typical Installation and click Next.
4. Enter in your username and password that were provided with your ESET Smart Security purchase. (The username starts with ‘AV-‘) Do not select the checkbox labeled Set update parameters later. Click Next.
5. Continue with the installation by clicking on the Next button. Ensure all ENABLE boxes are checked.
If any errors occur during installation, try installing again in Safe Mode. Other software can occasionally interfere with the ESET Smart Security installation, causing it to fail.
