Installation in test mode (creating nsetup file)
If the installation of NOD32 fails for any reason and you cannot resolve the issue, it may be necessary to run the installation in test mode. Running the installation in test mode will create a log file that you can send to the ESET Customer Care team. This will allow us to more effectively trouble-shoot the issue.
To run the installation in test mode and generate the log file, please follow the steps below:
1. Click Start → Run. The Run window will be displayed.
2. Click the Browse button and navigate to the C:/Program Files/Eset/Install folder. Click setup.exe.
3. The directory path will be inserted into the Run window. Type (space) /test at the end of the directory path, and click OK (See Fig. 1-1 below).

4. Attempt to finish the installation as normal, or proceed until you encounter any errors. The nsetup.txt file will be created in the C:/Program Files/Eset/Install folder. Attach this file to an email and send it to our Customer Care team. Click here
