The NOD32 Control Center is the central management module, were you do everything. It provides access to the various features, tools and settings and fully integrates all installed system components. These are categorized into four different sections; Threat Protection Modules, Update, Logs, and NOD32 System Tools. Each of which can be expanded into an easy-to-use directory tree of which you will find all the Threat Protection Modules, Updates and Mirrors, Event Logs, and Information. For increased security, the key settings can be password protected to prevent unauthorized access and modification. |

Automatic Update module

AMON (Antivirus MONitor) is an on-access (memory-resident) scanner for Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT / 2000 / 2003 / XP. Even though it is at full alert, it works silently in the background and you will probably not even notice its presence until it denies access to an infected file and pops up a warning window.

| IMON & EMON |

IMON (Internet MONitor) is the second NOD32 resident scanner. It runs on the Winsock level and scans internet traffic (e-mail) coming in through the POP3 protocol. IMON replaces the older NOD32's form of POP3 filter with enhanced email protection. Almost no configuration is required, which is great for non-technical users.

EMON (Email MONitor), a complementary resident module, scans e-mails coming in through the MAPI interface. The MAPI interface is used in these e-mail clients: Microsoft Outlook 95, 97, 2000 (not Outlook Express) in the Corporate mode and in MS Exchange. The MAPI interface is also used when receiving e-mails from the Microsoft Exchange Mail Server through the Exchange protocol.
